Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Users can activate, reactivate, or deactivate multi-factor authentication via 'My profile'. Any user who has not yet configured MFA will see a notification at most once every 5 days at sign-in, offering the option to activate or skip. When activating, users can choose to sign out and sign back in immediately to complete the MFA setup. An active MFA session remains valid for 60 minutes; without MFA, the session timeout is 30 minutes. Administrators with the 'Manage users' permission can also manage MFA for other users from the user management grid.
The detail pages for proposals, requests, assignments, and timesheets now display a sidebar showing recent activity on the record. The activity history is directly visible without additional navigation.
Human resources — sorting and filtering
Sorting by first name is now available in the human resources grid. Two additional filters have been added:
- Active (default: Yes)
- Anonymised (default: No)
Deactivating and reactivating a human resource is also possible from the resource's edit page, using the 'Active?' toggle. The action is available to users holding the 'Manage human resource' and 'Deactivate human resource' permissions.
Assignments report
Supplier users can request an Assignments report via the reporting module. The report provides a complete overview of all assignments and includes filtering options.
Document upload
The document upload field now displays an upload icon and action text, making it clear that the field accepts file attachments. Uploaded files are shown as a chip rather than plain text.
Sending a request as PDF
Via the 'Mail (pdf)' action on a request's detail page, supplier users with the 'Send document (pdf)' permission can email a pdf version of the request. The pdf contains the request information relevant to suppliers, including any attached documents.
Knowledge Centre
The 'News' menu item has been replaced by 'Knowledge centre'. This page provides direct access to the knowledge base at help.connecting-expertise.com, allows users to contact the support team at support@connecting-expertise.com, and includes a direct link to the platform's release notes.
