The Assignments dashboard gives you an at-a-glance overview of your active assignments, the workers and suppliers involved, and the associated value and rates. Use it to track how many assignments are running, how long workers and suppliers have been active, and how assignments start and end.

All figures update automatically based on the filters you set on the right.

The key figures at the top

At the top you'll find six cards with the main totals, for assignments active for at least 1 day within the chosen period:

• Workers — the number of unique workers with an active contract for at least 1 day in the chosen period.
• Assignments — the number of unique active assignment chains. An assignment renewed several times counts here as a single chain; a worker who starts a completely new assignment after a break counts as a 2nd chain.
• Suppliers — the number of unique suppliers through which the active workers work.
• Seniority — the average duration of the active assignment chains, calculated from the original start date to today (or to the end date if the assignment has already stopped). This figure doesn't depend on the length of the chosen period: a worker who has already been active for 5 years, of which you only view 1 year, still counts here for 5 years of seniority.
• Assignment budget — the total assignment budget, prorated over the days that fall within the chosen period. An assignment lasting 2 years, of which you only view 1 year, will only count here for half its budget.
• Average rate — the weighted average (taking into account the duration of each period) of the rates used in the winning proposal.

The widgets

• Evolution over time — the evolution of the number of workers, the number of suppliers and the total budget over time.
• Assignment type — the breakdown of your assignments and assignment chains across the different assignment types configured in your environment (e.g. Time & Material, Team, SOW), both as a percentage and in absolute numbers.
• Reasons for assignment ending — the reason and sub-reason why assignments were ended prematurely, with the number of assignments and assignment chains per reason.
• Do not prolong reason — the reason and sub-reason why an assignment was not renewed at the end of the current period.
• Inflow and outflow — per month, the number of new assignment chains started (inflow) and the number ended (outflow). A renewal of an existing assignment does not count here as a new inflow or outflow — only the first start and the final end of a complete assignment chain are counted.
• Price trend — the evolution of the average rate over time.

Filtering

The filter panel is on the right. You can filter on, among others, Active assignment period, Company, Assignment supplier, Category, Assignment type, Rate used in proposal and External status. All widgets follow the selected filters automatically.
